Bye-Bye-Bye

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY BABY!!!!

I think this post should come with a WARNING...LOTS of pictures to follow!!

We can not believe our baby is ONE!!  Seriously, I know I keep saying that, but really!  I would like to know where all of this time has gone!  It feels like just yesterday she was born and we were bringing her home from the hospital, thinking OMG, what the heck have we done and what the heck are we going to do now!  At the time, I did not know how we were going to survive, I mean I knew our parents wouldn't let us fail at this, but I really didn't know how Ryan and I were going to do this on our own!  I think I prayed every night for God to just help us make it and to not screw up anything!!!  And, He did, with flying colors!  Thank you God for our Awesome miracle!  And, for the past year!  It has been the BEST year of my life....we have never know joy like we have this past year!!!  A true gift!!

This is Avery when she first woke up on her birthday!!  We ran in her room singing Happy Birthday!!  I know she thinks we are crazy half of the time, but I think she is getting kind of use to us by now!!

She is looking for Boo, he is the first person she wants to see every morning, that is the first thing she says when she wakes up...."Boo, Boo"

She is really excited here b/c she is eating donut holes in mommy and daddy's bed and she is about to open her presents!!

She loves this thing, she has been eyeing it every time we go to Target she wants to play with it!

She is just checking to make sure she got all of the toys and clothes out of the bag!

Great Grandaddy and Gigi surprised us all with a birthday cake for Avery...such a great surprise!!

At first Avery wasn't so sure about the cake b/c mommy and daddy would never let her get so messy, but then she just dug right in!  She loved it, she had so much fun rubbing the icing all around all over her hands and laughing a cute little evil laugh!!!!

She had a lot of fun at Great Grandaddy's exploring through all of his drawers.  She even dumped all of the cat's water out as soon as we got there.  She really makes her self at home anywhere she goes!  Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing!??

Avery is really ready to dig into her presents, but we are trying to be polite and read all of the cards first.  Never to early to try and teach that!

This toy was the highlight of the day!  She LOVES her new cell phone!  She has been walking around the house talking on it for the past couple of days!  Not sure who she is talking to, but sometimes she even yells at them.  Then she will say "bye-bye" and throw the phone down!

She is showing her Grandaddy Vernon how to use her new cell phone.  When we were getting ready to leave we almost left her phone.  We were walking out the door and she saw her phone sitting on the table and she pointed at it....sooo smart!  I know I couldn't live with out my cell phone either!!!  Like mama like daughter!!  

After Great Grandaddy's we went to Callie's house!  Of course there were more presents waiting for Avery from her Nanny and Poppy (her Great grandparents).  Here she is opening her present with her Poppy!!  It was the cutest baby doll!  It even had a pink bow in her hair just like Avery use to wear...before she got all grown up and decided she didn't like bows anymore...I know it is only the beginning!  I am afraid we are raising a very opinionated little mini me!!!  =0

Avery with her favorite Uncle's....Dillon and Clay!! They really love her sooo much!  It is sooo cute, b/c as soon as they see her they are all over her wanting to hold her and love on her!  That is of course until she spits up or starts whining and screaming or something!!

Here is Avery after the end of a very long day!  She is showing Bruiser all of the loot she got for her first Birthday!  And, that was just from her great grandparents!  Her big birthday party is Sunday!  I can only imagine what this pile will look like then!  So, this pretty much sums up our day!  Avery had an awesome first birthday!  It was spent with a lot of family and there is nothing better than that!!!  Happy Happy Birthday!!  We love you more than you could ever imagine!!!  Stay tuned for pictures of her party!!

Nine and Ten Months....

I can't believe in FOUR short days our baby will be ONE!!!!!!  =( 

Seven and Eight months

She changed so much from 6 months to 7 months....she looks like such a big girl in these pictures!  The first 3 are 7 months and the bottom 2 are 8 months!!  Can't believe she is turning one this week!  Sooooooo sad!!!!!  But, so happy also!

Five Months Old...

Detour.....bump in the road.....4 months!

Well, when I started this I totally forgot that I was having to use Ryan's laptop and the pictures of Avery's first few months are on the computer in the office that is BROKE!!!!  So, we have to take a detour!  =(  I am so sad b/c month one, two and three are on that computer!  So this is Avery at Four months old.....big change from the first month!  It is so crazy looking at all of these pictures, she is just so different now!  

I LOVE her little hands in this picture.  Avery just started holding her bottle about a month ago!  Well, she always knew how to do it, but did not want to...she still prefers that I hold it for her and I don't mind doing it!  =)  Anything to keep her a baby longer!  She would put her hands behind her back so that she didn't have to hold her bottle!  Poor thing just started wanting to hold it and ask for it and we are about to take it away!
