Sweet Brody in his baseball outfit from Nana...wonder if he will take after his Uncle Clay Clay and be an awesome baseball player?? It had a cute ball cap, but it wouldn't fit on Brody's head!!

We had a beautiful weekend last weekend. We spent most of our time outside having a picnic, flying our kite, working in the yard and just playing outside!! Brody looks soooo big in this picture! He is growing up so fast. Ryan and I always tell him to stay little, he is suppose to be our little baby, but he is already so big! =(

Avery was running as fast as she could out at the lake. She was trying to catch her kite. I was so afraid she was going to fall and bust her pretty little head open!!

My neighbor told me that when a baby has hair like this it is like a halo! She said it is where the angels kissed him before he was born! I LOVE that!! I know sweet Brody got a lot of kisses from his grandparents!! Love his little halo!!

SIX Months!!!

My Brody Bear is SIX months old!!! That is half a year...half way to ONE!!! =(

My sweet boy is six months old! I am so in love with him! He has brought so much love and joy into our lives! I live for his sweet smiles and laughs! I fall more and more in love with him each day!!

Brody you are six months old!! What have you been up to??

* You are still the sweetest little thing ever! You are very laid back and easy going! You just go with the flow and take it all in!

* You still drink 5 oz. every three hours except at night.

* You have your last bottle around 10 and sleep until about 7 each morning. You usually have your bottle and then fall back asleep until about 9 or so or until Avery wakes up and wakes you up. You still sleep in bed with mommy and daddy! I love it soooo much, but I KNOW I have to move you to your bed soon! Hopefully I can work on that this month, but honestly I do not want to!

* You have started to eat baby food this month. At first you were very unsure and did not like it, but in the last week you have really started to like it and become better at eating with the spoon although you make a huge mess. You have had: peas, green beans (did not like at all), sweet potatoes and squash. You have cereal in the morning and a veggie in the evening.

* You still take your afternoon nap in the swing and a short evening cat nap there too. I think you would go to bed earlier but you always get woken up by Avery.

* You said your first word this month...dada!! Although, I am not sure how that happened because we have been practicing saying mama for the past six months!

* You roll everywhere. You are really good at rolling from your back to tummy and usually roll over right away even when you sleep, but you aren't to good at tummy to back even though you can do it!

* You are close to crawling I am afraid. You can scoot and pull your self around.

* You always want to be standing up on your feet!

* You have started to sit in the high chair and love it. If I put toys on the tray for you you will sit and play for a while!

* You are getting so big. You can wear size 6-9 months and even some 12 months clothes are fitting you good.

* You weigh 19 lbs. and 8 oz. (85%)

* You still wear a size 3 diaper, but not for long!

* You had RSV this month and an ear infection. You had to have breathing treatments. Thank God you are much better now!

* You are very close to sitting up on your own. You can sit up on your own for a few minutes before tumbling over.

* You always have your hands in your mouth, you try to fit the whole thing in there.

* You have become very grabby. You are always grabbing for anything in your reach, you especially love my hair and Avery's! Avery is not a fan of this!! =)

* You laugh and smile and talk to us all the time!

* You have learned to make the blowing noise with your mouth! And, you think that is pretty funny!

* You love to swing in the baby swing out side and usually try to fall asleep!

* You have become pretty attached to your mommy!!! (Yay!! =))

* You love bath time and try to put the faucet in your mouth! We have to be very careful!

* You truly are the sweetest thing I have ever laid eyes on! You melt my heart, I love you more than words!!

Brody's sister is so sweet, she was sharing her brand new Buzz light year with her baby brother!!

Pee Wee

Chris found this Pee Wee doll that was Ryan's as a little boy. She told Avery it was Ryan's favorite toy. Every single day when Ryan gets home from work Avery brings him Pee Wee and says "here daddy, here is Pee Wee your favorite toy!!"

Avery is really into me taking her picture latley! She will bring me my phone or camera and say "take my picture mommy!" She's so cute how could I resist?!

RSV

My poor Brody had/has RSV. It was sooo sad, he was pretty sick but thankfully after many breathing treatments he is feeling better!!

So cute!!!
