Merry Christmas 2011

I really can't believe Christmas has come and gone! It really snuck up on me this year...wasn't it just 107 degrees outside and now it is Christmas?? This year has flown! We had a great Christmas. I am so thankful for our family and to make these memories with A and B! It is truly magical seeing Christmas through your children's eyes!! This whole season has been amazing! I am so proud of my Avery who knows the true meaning of Christmas! She is such a sweet girl...I pray she continues to learn more and more each year and has a heart for others!
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care!
Then Santa had to move them b/c they kept falling... Bruiser was comfy in his spot!
The toys were ready...
This is the most amazing doll house I have ever seen! It is almost as tall as me...it is awesome!! Avery woke up early and ran to our room. I had really talked to her about coming to our room first and not going into the living room. I blocked her in the hallway with a chair just to make sure! She ran into our room bright and early and excited!!!
She loves her dollhouse!!
Brody got a new slide. He loves sliding and screams and laughs every single time!! He just can't seem to learn how to climb up there!
Avery trying to show him how it is done.
Yay Brody!!
Little brother checking out the fun new dollhouse.
He had fun digging through his stocking!

Beautiful Avery...so excited!
Brody really thinks you can climb in the dollhouse and play! Avery is not so impressed!
Yay, present time!

Trying on some of her new clothes!
Brody giving his sister a Christmas morning hug!!
And, this was the last picture I took b/c my camera BROKE!!! That's right...right after I snapped this picture my camera broke...on Christmas morning! =(((( I was so sad! Chris let me borrow her camera for the rest of the day. I haven't had a chance to get those pictures off of her camera yet...so this will be Christmas day part one! We had such a great day despite the whole camera breaking thing!

Christmas Eve Pajama Party...

We had our annual pajama party at our house on Christmas Eve. It is sooo much fun and we really look forward to this every year! I am so glad Avery and Brody get to grow up with this tradition!
Avery getting the party started right with a few Christmas carols!
She's so happy front and center!! She loves to perform and put on shows for everyone!!
Brody had to get in on all of the fun!
Avery must have been in the other room b/c there is no way she would have willingly shared her microphone!
Mommy and her sweet boy.
Niki and Russell.
Brandi, Maleia and Dillon.
Avery watching "The Sound of Music."
Mimi and Avery. I tried to get Avery to take a picture with both of her grandma's and her grandparents but go figure she would not cooperate!
A picture Avery took of Scott and I...I think she did a pretty good job.
Brody and Paga....I'm so sad I didn't get a picture of everyone who was here. Next year that is my goal!
Avery and the Happy Birthday Jesus cake we made together!
Singing Happy Birthday to Jesus and blowing the candle out!
Sweet Avery with the cake, candy, cookies and milk we left for Santa. Brody really wanted to eat it!

Sweet, beautiful Avery!!!!
Brody refuses to look at my camera...
All I wanted was a good cute picture of Avery and Brody in their pajamas by the tree...as you can tell that never happened!

This one is the best we got! =)

Santa sent a note telling Avery that she could give Sammy one big hug and tell him goodbye! Her and Sammy have a love/hate relationship! I think a part of her was happy to see the little tattle tale go! She was really happy to give him a hug though and could not believe Santa said it was okay for her to touch him...I actually had to convince her it was okay!
Making sure our treats are just perfect!
We had a great Christmas Eve!!! I really love this time of year. We have so much to be thankful for and celebrate!

**** Also I want to add. We celebrated Christmas the week before this at my sister's new house with my dad and Cindy! We had so much fun! It was a great time together. I really wish we got to spend more family time like that more often! Holli and Brent did a great job...they had a fire going and tons of food and a pretty decorated house. Avery had a blast and loved her fat cat!! My dad and Cindy (Cici) totally spoiled all of us! They got Avery and Brody tons of toys and a stocking over flowing with stuff! They got them the cutest sleeping bags with pillows that Avery and Brody both love!!! Avery actually camped out on her floor that night with hers! I managed to leave my camera at home that night and did not get one picture! =( But, we had a great time together. I am so beyond thankful for my whole family!!!!

Big boy...

My Brody bear is getting sooo big! I love these pictures of him from Christmas Eve. He is missing his shirt b/c it was soaked from drool...he is constantly drooling. He also has on his favorite Christmas present...his brand new boots from Nana and Papa. Brody loves his shoes. He was sooo excited to open up his boots. I took them off and he threw a fit, went to his room got the boots and brought them back to me to put on. So, I did! He was so happy and ran around the house with them on the rest of the night. I actually had to let him fall asleep with them on and take them off when he was sound asleep so he would not throw a fit! =)
