My Grandaddy

This is my Grandaddy!!! I love him sooo much! We have always been extremely close! I spent mostly every weekend with him and my Nanny when I was a child. Their house felt just as much like my house as my house did to me and sometimes even more so! He is the best man you could ever meet! He took my cousin and I on many trips w/ him and my grandma, cooked me breakfast every morning before taking me to school, came home on his lunch break every day to bring me lunch or take me out to lunch, we went to The Taste of Italy or McDonald's at least once a week, he sat in the hallway with me every single morning before school and walked me to my class room and to my desk each morning b/c I didn't' want to wait alone...he never complained, he actually acted like he enjoyed it!! He bathed me every night that I was at his house and would tickle my feet as he brought me to my grandma, He let me stay up after the news was over so that I could watch Archie Bunker with him, I loved that show, but I loved sitting in his lap and smelling his pipe even more! He let me sleep in bed with my grandma and him! He taught me about Jesus, he taught me how important it was to go to school and make good grades, he would give me money for every A and B that I made! I will never forget the biggest smile on his face when he met his great granddaughter Avery!! He never missed sending me, Ryan or Avery a birthday card on or before our birthday! He even gave Avery her first birthday cake this year on her birthday!! He showed me what it was like to have the world's greatest Grandaddy!!!! He loved my grandma more than anything and took the best care of her until her last day...he showed me what an amazing husband looked like! He was the last one standing at my wedding, he danced all night long and actually had some pretty good moves!! I am so blessed to have him in my life as my Gradaddy! I am truly, truly blessed and thankful for all that he has taught me! I am forever grateful! There are so many wonderful memories that I will never forget!

My Grandaddy has cancer! I hate that word sooo much I don't even want to type it on my blog! He has been fighting it so hard for over a year now and honestly, it doesn't look good for him at all. I can't even imagine not being able to pick up the phone and call him, he loves to talk and tell all of his stories! And, I love to listen, but I should have listened more! If you feel led to do so please pray for my Grandaddy! Just pray that he is comfortable and at peace! We love him so very much!! Thank you for your prayers for our family!

Addicted

I know it is not a good thing and I am not proud! But, Avery is addicted to t.v. She knows how to work the dvd player and the t.v. in her playroom! She turns on 101 Dalmatians and sits just like this for pretty much the whole movie. You can not talk to her or move her while she is watching t.v. She will not talk to you or answer any questions! She takes her t.v. very seriously!! I have to say that it runs in the family! She does not stand a chance!!

Just like Daddy!

Avery might kill me one day for posting these pictures, but they are too cute! She picked out her magazine and sat down on her potty to read it! She said "Like Daddy!!!" She is such a big girl now. She usually potties in her potty about 3 or 4 times a day!! YAY!!!!

Sooo Beautiful!!!

Two very sweet girls! Avery loves Savannah! She calls her Savy, and was following her around non stop and looking for her anytime she was out of her sight! I love little Savy too and it is sooo hard to believe she is 10 years old now! I remember when she was Avery's age! She is the cutest and sweetest thing and I hope her and Avery can always be friends! Hopefully she can look up to Savy and come to her for advice and girl talk!!! =)

She is out front practicing her ballerina moves!

Last day of gymnastics

Last Tuesday was Avery's last day of gymnastics. But, not for long we signed her up again and she already started this past Monday. She went from being one of the oldest and most advanced kids in the class to being one of the youngest. We will see what happens. She did hang with these kids just fine! Maybe she will learn a little something about listening and following instructions by being with kids a little older!! She loves gymnastics and is really good at everything she tries! She has learned to: walk on a balance beam, do front rolls, swing on the bars and pull her feet up on them, jump on the trampoline and several other things!! We are so proud of our little gymnast!!

Hop-Scotch

Avery had so much fun playing hop scotch with all of my cousins kids! She thinks she is such a big kid! She actually kept up with them and went up and down the sidewalk hundreds of times, just hopping away! It was so sweet and cute just watching her play with all of the big kids!

I love my Clay Clay!

It is sooo hard to get Avery to look at the camera when you take her picture! Several attempts to get a good picture of her and Clay and these are the best we got!! She loves playing with Clay Clay, he is so sweet to her and loves her so much!!! And, she says his name so cute "Clay Clay!!!" We love you Uncle Clay!!!!

The best part of the circus!

Although, they both loved every single part, I think Avery and Maddox would both agree that their favorite part of the circus was the sno cone!!! Oh, and probably, the cotton candy, cookies and fruit snacks!!

PRICELESS

Avery loved every second of the circus! She was so excited and yelling so loud that the people a couple of rows ahead of us turned around to smile at her! Her face was priceless! I love experiencing thing with her for the first time! She loved the elephants, ballerinas, tigers, motorcycles, piggies, tigers, dogs, clowns and every single thing about the circus!!! She is an absolute angel and I love her more than words can say! I am so thankful for her and how much joy she brings to our life!!!

She was saying "doggies, all gone!!?"

Laughing and screaming with excitement!!

Hahaha!!! Aren't our daddy's cute with their matching bags??

Loving every second of it!!

Soooo excited watching the doggies and piggies!!!!

Look mommy there are ballerina's at the circus!

Going to the Circus!!!!

I am sooo excited because my buddy Maddox and I are going to the.....

CIRCUS!!!!!!!

We had been planning on taking Avery to the circus for a couple of weeks now and are soooo glad that we did! At the last minute Ryan asked Brandon and Amy to come along with us! They ended up buying tickets at the door and we still all got to sit together on the 5th or 6th row. We had awesome seats and could see everything perfectly! It was such a great time and we can't wait to go again next year!!!

Having fun with Daddy!!!!
