Posing...

Avery loves posing! She is really into dressing her self...even in long sleeves and jackets. It has been over 100 degrees here for the past 24 or so days! But, Avery prefers to dress her self and you can not stop her! Luckily this day she opted for a sleeveless shirt worn as a dress with socks!! =) I love my sweet silly girl!!!

TEN Months...

Ten months old!!

Brody Bear you are TEN months old!!!

What have you been up to this month??

* You are such a sweet sweet boy...I am sooo blessed!!!

* You have two teeth now!

* You weigh around 22 pounds.

* You still wear a size 4 diaper and 12 months clothes. You still can't wear shoes.

* You crawl fast are into EVERYTHING!!!!! You love the dog water and food, the bathrooms and Avery's room the best!!

* You have learned to shake your head and say No-No. It is sooo cute! You will stick your hand in Bruiser's water and say No-No while shaking your head. If you are full and don't want anymore food you will say No-No and shake your head!!! You actually say No-No and shake your head to pretty much everything!

* You say dada, mama and sometimes it is naanaa, Boo, no-no and hi!

* You can stand on your own and have even taken a step or two. Once you realize what you are doing you get scared and sit down!

* You eat a lot of table food. You pretty much taste everything we are having. For lunch you have toast or shredded cheese and banana's or applesauce. You love to try what Avery is eating and to stick your fingers in her ketchup and lick your fingers!

* You still drink 4, 6oz bottles a day. You eat fruit in the mornings, a veggie or something else for lunch and a veggie dinner for dinner. You have a few snacks in between: graham crackers, cheerios, yogurt melts or puffs, goldfish.

* You go to sleep around 8 after your last bottle and sleep in your own bed until about 12-3am. Then, you wake up crying and have to sleep the rest of the night in our bed until about 6:30. Not ideal, but it works for us! I still love sleeping next to you!!

* You love going swimming and taking baths.

* You are still super sweet and give mommy hugs and kisses, but you are not near as cuddly as you use to be at night. You use to sleep with your head on my chest or right up next to me, but now you like your space!

* You give lots of hugs and kisses...I love when you lay your sweet head on my shoulder!

I just love you more than ever!! You are the sweetest baby boy!! I am so blessed to be your mommy! I can not believe we have had you for ten months!!

Precious...

My baby is absolutely precious! Look how sweet he looks sleeping on his daddy! He just melts my heart into pieces...I am soooo in love!!!

p.s. don't make fun of his pants...Ryan does! But, they are his pajamas!! =)

Clay-Clay

I love my little brother Clay sooo much! He is very sweet and laid back. A lot of people tell me that Brody looks like Clay....what do you think?? I hear: Ryan, Clay, Dillon and I think one or two people have said me! I can see Clay, especially when Clay was a little boy.

Bye-Bye Bassinet!

We said good-bye to the bassinet Brody slept in when he was tiny! It has been sitting in the corner of his room for a few months now so I figured it was time to give it back to Vivi. I have to admit even though he hasn't slept in it in forever it was really sad seeing it go! We will never have another baby to sleep in a tiny little bassinet! =( But, before we got rid of it we had to have a ride around the house in it!!!

Busted!!

Somebody left the door open to the pantry! Brody was sooooo excited. He had so much fun playing with all of the boxes. He kept looking at me and smiling, he knew he wasn't suppose to be in there! But, he was having so much fun, so I let him play for a while! =)

The highchair...

This highchair was Avery's. Now it is Brody's. Avery is not very fond of sharing things that use to be hers when she was a baby. So, now Brody has to share the highchair with his big sister!!

MMMM...

I have been letting Brody taste the things we are eating lately. He really loves his food! Mimi made us the best spagetti for dinner one night and Brody LOVED it!!!

Camping!

Ryan made Avery a tent in her room one night so she could camp out! She had fun playing in there but decided when it was time to go to sleep she would rather sleep in her bed! Isn't she the prettiest little girl? I love her and her imagination so much!!

4th of July

We had a different but good 4th of July this year. Usually we would go to the lake at Nanny and Poppy's house, but with out Nanny this year we didn't do that. We were going to go with my family to celebrate, but sweet little Brody had a fever all day Saturday and Sunday! =( So, we didn't get to make that! We went to watch the fireworks in Addison on Sunday night. Avery was soooo excited about the fireworks, she was asking us all day when we were going and just didn't understand why we couldn't just go right then. Finally we made it there and Avery was sooo tired. She was almost falling asleep in her chair while waiting for them. Thank goodness for the dvd player, it kept her busy after the sun went down and we were just waiting! She loved the fireworks and really wishes we could see them every day! Brody loved the fireworks too. I think he was starting to feel better and had a ton of fun playing in the back of Ryan's truck!! Hope you had a Happy 4th!!!

Avery didn't want me to take her picture at all! I had to sneak one of her watching her movie and waiting. Once the fireworks started she wanted me to hold her and watch them so I couldn't take pictures then! =)
