  • She can count to 10
  • Say her ABC's with a little help!
  • Knows all of the animals and what sounds they make....she LOVES animals!
  • Can look at a picture and tell you every person in the picture. I think she has a photographic memory!
  • Loves going to church!!! Thank you God, she finally stopped crying when we leave her, now it is just "Bye, mommy and daddy!!"
  • Loves to gives kisses and hugs and always says "awwwwe" when she is hugging you!
  • Wants to hug everyone!
  • Daddy can fix ANYTHING: a torn piece of paper, a boo boo, a broken crayon, anything and everything daddy can fix. Avery is constantly telling me "Daddy fix it!!" She thinks her daddy can do it all and she is pretty much right!!
  • Loves playing outside and taking Bruiser for walks!
  • Loves gymnastics!
  • Really into watching 101 Dalmatians. She can tell you every person and dogs name. She even knows how to work the dvd player or dvdv as she calls it.

  • Is soooooo full of JOY!!!!
  • Sings "Jesus Loves Me" and says her prayers every night!
  • Gets soooo excited when daddy comes home from work. She screams "daddy's home...yay daddy's home!" Maybe that should tell me something!
  • Does not mind sitting in time out, she goes with a smile!
  • Very bossy!! She is always bossing someone around...me, Ryan, Bruiser, and her dolls! Bossy, but super cute and funny!
  • She is seriously sooooo funny! We laugh at her all day long! Not at her but with her!
  • Uses the potty!
  • Loves to color
  • LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to dance and sing!!!
  • Loves her mommy and daddy and her whole family! She is such a little lover and sooo sweet!
  • She is really caring and making sure everyone is okay. Sometimes out of no where she will say "Don't worry mommy!" or "I love you mommy!", "more than the whole world"!
  • She has the BEST personality! Everyone we meet is always so amazed at how smart and sweet she is!!!!
I am sooooo in love with this girl! I don't know how I got soooo blessed! I thank God for her constantly! I Love her more than anything. She has brought so much joy to my life, I could never thank Him enough!!!!

Grandaddy
March 12, 1934-September 15, 2009

"Well Done thou good and faithful servant."

I am going to miss my Grandaddy so much. I can't even imagine not being able to talk to him or hug him again! He is the greatest man and I love him so very much! I am so thankful that he is healed and has that big smile on his face again. I am so thankful that I got to be with him in his final hours holding his hand and kissing his cheeks and whispering in his ear how much I loved him. He had a wonderful service today honoring his life and his legacy! I am so blessed to have had him in my life for 28 years! I love you Grandaddy!!!!

I can only imagine.....

Please be in prayer for my grandaddy!! The hospice nurse came in today and did not give us any good news. I know that only God can be the one to say when He is going to call us home. But, I also know the nurses have a lot of knowledge in that as well. Just please pray that he will have a peace over him that only God can give and that he is comfortable and not in any pain at all...I just pray that he is surrounded in peace, comfort and love!!! He truly is the greatest man I have ever met. I can't help but wonder what is going through his mind, what he is thinking about as he faces his last days....I can only imagine!!!!

I can only imagine
What it will be like
When I walk
By your side

I can only imagine
What my eyes will see
When your face
Is before me
I can only imagine

I can only imagine

[Chorus:]
Surrounded by Your glory, what will my heart feel
Will I dance for you Jesus or in awe of you be still
Will I stand in your presence or to my knees will I fall
Will I sing hallelujah, will I be able to speak at all
I can only imagine

I can only imagine

I can only imagine
When that day comes
And I find myself
Standing in the Son

I can only imagine
When all I will do
Is forever
Forever worship You
I can only imagine

I can only imagine

[Chorus]

I can only imagine [x2]

I can only imagine
When all I will do
Is forever, forever worship you

I can only imagine

Turtles

Grandaddy and Gigi have turtles in their backyard! Avery got to see them for the first time on Sunday and she was pretty intrigued by them! She loves animals! She was a little afraid to pet them b/c I thought they may bite her! Gigi said they bite sometimes! She did end up petting the nicer one, but also just liked looking at them!!

Kisses, hugs and LOTS of LOVE!!!!

We love you Grandaddy!!! Sooo much!!!
We visited Grandaddy again on Sunday! Avery loves climbing up on his bed to give him lots of love!! She layed her head down on his chest and hugged on him for a loooong time!! It was very sweet!! We all love you soooooo much grandaddy!!!

Little Sailor girl!!

Chris bought this outfit for Avery months ago! I just remembered it and found it in her closet! She looks sooo cute and she knew it! She kept saying "Soo cute, sooo pretty!!!" She couldn't wait to get to Mimi's house and "show Mimi!!!"

This is the way she poses for pictures! When I get the camera out she will say "Cheese!!" And, she always pops her head to the side!!

This letter A is from her Great Grandaddy! He had saved it from when he owned his sign company! He gave it to Avery last week and she seriously thinks it was the best gift ever! Ever since she got it she has been carrying it around the house and saying "letter A" then she sings the ABC's! She really likes her letter A!!

Little Monkey

Avery LOVES banana's! She knows where we keep them in the basket on the counter and she will stand there and say "A banana, a banana, please!!!!" Until, she gets her banana she is not happy! She loves to peel it her self and eat it her self also!! She is the sweetest little monkey ever!!!! She also likes to torture Bruiser by eating it right in front of him and showing him everytime she takes a bite, but she usually doesn't share her banana with him!!

Rode-ro

Saturday night we took Avery to the Rodeo, or the rode-ro as Avery calls it! She had a lot of fun watching the horseys. She kept saying "Stinky horsey's and stinky ponies!!" She was right they were very stinky! She wasn't so sure at first b/c the horses were running around and bucking people off of them and it made her kind of scared at first, but then she got a little more into it! We sat on the bottom row, so we were up close! She stood down by the fence and watched for most of it! I love being able to take Avery to all the fun things! It makes things so much better to experience it through her eyes! She just gets so excited! She has been talking about the rode-ro and horsey's every since!! She really enjoyed her "ice cream" or sno cone the best I think!!
