Avery LOVES the water!! She can not get enough of swimming!! She wears her life jacket and swims all over the pool! She is very brave, which makes her mommy very nervous! She is not afraid of anything and thinks she can swim all on her own and do what ever she wants! It is a good thing she is not afraid of the water, but I wish she were just a little more afraid! =)

The Parrot

Avery LOVED the parrot at the hotel we stayed at. He lived in the lobby and Avery always had to go by and say hi and bye to him! She made the parrot sound perfectly and sounded just like him. When Avery would go over and talk to him he would tell her "Bye-Bye!" It was sooo funny!!!

Father's Day!

We had a great day on Sunday! We went to church then went to lunch with my dad! Avery had a great time while we waited to eat at Babe's. She was dancing and entertaining every one that was waiting!

Beach...Day Three!!

We decided to go to the aquarium on our last day! Avery loved the aquarium and is still talking about the baby sea otters and the penguins! She loved looking at all of the fish and creatures! She made some new friends, insisted on walking by her self b/c she is a big girl and not sitting in her stroller! It was a good time and so fun!

After the aquarium we went to a place called Palm Beach, it was right inside/next to the aquarium! It was really awesome and great for kids! They had a nice man made "beach" and a kiddie place with big water slides! Avery loved this place more than the real beach I think! If I ask her what her favorite part was about the beach she always says the big water slides!! I am going to have to find a place around here that has that!! She also loved swimming in the shallow kiddie pool and playing in the sand!!

After Palm Beach we went back to the hotel and did some more swimming in their pool! Then, we got ready and had another great dinner!! After dinner we went and flew our kite on the beach! It was so much fun, I will post those pictures later they are on my iphone!

Beach...Day Two!!

So, I am the worst mother EVER!!! Who takes their baby to the beach for the first time and forgets to bring their camera??? OH, yeah, that would be me! Luckily, Mimi had her camera and got some great pictures! I am going to have to get the pictures from her. I am just so sad that I didn't have my camera! =(

But, Avery LOVED the beach! She LOVED the sand and the ocean! We spent all morning at the beach! The first thing she asked that morning when opening her eyes was "When are we going to the beach??" So, we got there and set up a little spot and hung out at the beach all morning! We built sand castles, collected a lot of sea shells, went for walks up and down the shore, rode on a boogie board with daddy, splashed in the waves and had such a GREAT time! I am so glad Avery got to experience the beach!! She was so excited and loved every single part about it! At first she wasn't so sure of the waves getting her or walking around all the stuff, but she finally got over that and had sooo much fun!!

This is the only picture I took that day! Avery loved eating french fries in bed too!! As soon as I get the pictures from the beach I will add them....Ugh, still mad at myself about that one! After a long morning at the beach we came back to the room and had lunch in bed then took a long nap! We woke up and drove around the city for a little bit then went out for another awesome dinner!! After that we went back to the hotel for a little more swimming in the awesome pool and sliding then Avery spent the night with Mimi and Paga...again!! She slept with them every night!! There was no way she was going to stay with use when she knew they were right next door!

BEACH...Day One!!

Avery had been talking non stop about going to the beach and wanting to go to the beach! We decided that we really needed to take her to the beach to see the ocean and the sand! Last week we finally made it to the beach! We had an awesome family vacation with our little family and with Ryan's mom and dad...Mimi and Paga!! Thank you guys sooooooo much for everything, we had the BEST time and we are soooo thankful that we all got to go on a family vacation together!! Thank you sooo much!!!

The first day we got there we went straight to the pool! The place we stayed was amazing! It was an awesome resort! It had a great pool with a fun water slide that Avery and Ryan couldn't get enough of! It had a swim up bar, a hot tub with a waterfall and a great area to relax and lay out! It was sooo pretty and such a great place to stay! Avery and Ryan at the top of the big water slide...they must have done that at least 50 times. Every time they came down Avery was screaming and laughing and had the biggest smile on her face and was saying "Again Daddy!!"
