Pretty toes and new shoes!

Avery was so proud of her newly polished toes!  She kept looking down at her toes and saying "pretty!!"  We even had to go outside and show them off to our neighbor Becky!  She sat so still like such a big girl and even waited for them to dry.  She thought it was pretty funny that her mama was blowing on her toes!  She is also pretty proud of her new shoes and even more so with the fact that she can put them on all by her self!

They may be on the wrong feet, but she did it all by her self!  And, that is exactly the way she wanted them!!  She definitely did not want me to help her at all!

She was concentrating so hard!  Look at how beautiful her lips are, I swear she has the perfect set of lips!  And, they get MANY kisses!

Happy Mothers Day!

Horrible picture of me!  But, the only picture I managed to get of me and my baby on my 2nd Mothers Day!  I am sooo blessed to be Avery's mama!  I still can not believe it!  I don't know what I did to be sooo blessed!  I am so thankful and in awe that God chose me to be her mother!  I am forever grateful!  She has changed my life in a way that I can not explain!  She brings so much joy to my life and to sooo many others!  I am forever grateful to this little girl for making me a mother!  I had the best mothers day ever!  Every day feels like mothers day b/c I have the biggest blessing ever!

Aver is coloring on the sidewalk!

She was having a lot of fun coloring on the sidewalk at my Aunt Callie's house with a pencil!  I need to get the baby some sidewalk chalk!  =)

Avery adores Kaleb!  Her eyes seriously light up when she sees him!  He is a sweet little boy, but we did have to bribe him to take this picture!  Avery on the other hand was hugging him and kissing him and laying her head on his shoulder!!  Thanks K for making her day!

Beautiful Baby!

Always taking time to stop and smell the roses!  There are so many lessons to be learned in life if we just take the time to stop and watch our children!  I am so glad she can teach me to slow down and enjoy the simple things in life!

Avery's first sucker

We have let her have licks off of a sucker here and there, but this was the first time we let her hold it her self and eat the whole thing!  Of course she loved it and was pretty mad at us when it was all gone and she had to have a bath b/c she was a sticky mess!!

Reading with my Daddy!

Avery loves to read!  She has a few favorite books..."Little M0mmy," and "Goodnight Moon" are her two favorites at the moment!  She will just sit still while you read these books and she knows what is coming next.  She will point out all of the objects in the book and read along with you!  She even knows to turn the book the right direction, which I think is pretty impressive b/c I have seen a lot of kids reading away with the book up side down!  I love these pictures of her and her daddy reading!!

Background

Something happened to my background!!!  I am not sure what, but my blog is all white and boring now!  But, I kind of like it, it is kind of peaceful!  I will have to work on that soon and post some new pictures of the sweet little princess!  To all of you mother's out there and mother's to be I wish you a Happy Mother's Day, it is the Best thing in the world!!!!

Chillin!!

Jay Jay the jet plane is Avery's very favorite show!  She loves this show and gets sooo excited every time he comes on!  This is the only time she sits still all day long!  She usually only watches about the first five minutes sitting down and has to stand for the rest, but she looks so cute sitting on the couch!!  Thank goodness she loves Jay Jay!!  Thank you channel 13!!
