Reveal Party

Monday was the big day that we found out what we were having! Instead of just telling everyone we decided to have a little reveal party!! My doctor's appointment was at 9:20 that morning, so it was pretty hard to keep it a secret all day long! But, we did and it was so much fun telling our whole family at one time!! Thank you to everyone that came, we had so much fun!! Especially Avery who really thought the party was just for her!!

Meet our SON!!!!

We are so excited to introduce our son to you!!! I'm still in shock that we are having a little boy! But, sooooo excited! I am really happy for Ryan to get his son and for Avery to have a baby brother and to learn all about little boys!!! I'm still trying to wrap my brain around it, but I think it is finally sinking in! We are soooooo thankful that he is growing perfectly and looks perfectly healthy!! Thank you God!!! He weighs about a pound already, so he is really growing good and um so am I!! =) These pictures are tiny, so if you double click on them I think they should get bigger! I am not good at scanning and all of that! But, I can tell you that he is VERY cute!!

Pink or Blue??

I can't wait until we can find out what we are having! I am just dying to know if Avery is going to have a little sister...a best friend for life, a partner in crime, someone she can stay up with at night talking and gossiping about people at school or who they have crushes on, someone she can share clothes and shoes and make-up with, someone she can get into huge fights with and boss around. Are we going to have another daughter, someone who is just like or totally opposite of our first daughter, the love of our lives? Another little girl with more pink and hair bows and baby dolls thrown around the house, another little girl that we get to watch turn into a little lady, another daddy's girl, another girl that Ryan will have to dread the day of dating and boys!!! I would love to have another daughter....to do fun mommy daughter things with to teach about Jesus and watch turn into a Godly women!! To watch get married and be a mommy!

OR

Is Avery going to have a baby brother! Someone to give her advice about all of the boys to watch over her at school and protect her, to tell her to be quite when her and her girl friends are staying up all night talking, to wreck all of her baby dolls and barbie houses!! A partner in crime in digging in the flower beds and running down the side walk, to show her how to go down the slides head first and jump off the high dive!! A little brother that Avery can boss around and show the ropes to! A little brother that she will love and respect all of her life her little buddy!! Are we going to have a little boy with trucks and trains and mud all over our house, a little boy that will be a mommy's boy; that mommy will have to dread dating and the snotty sassy little girls he will have a crushes on!! I would love to have a son....to learn to be a mommy of a sweet little boy, for Ryan to have his son! To teach him about Jesus and what it is like to grow up to be a Godly man who loves Jesus and his mama and how to treat the girls!! To watch get married and become a daddy!!

Either way we are BEYOND blessed to be having another daughter or a son!! I just pray for a healthy and perfect child in every way! Finding out what it is is just icing on the cake! But, I can't wait until May 17th to see our second little baby!

Avery's First Pedicure!!

Saturday Avery and I had nothing to do and Ryan was working late, so we decided to go get pedicures! I know I am starting her early...but, her toes look way better than when I paint them and so do mine! Ha!! =) She was soooo good and sat so still while she had her toes done! She was so excited to sit in the teddy bear chair they have for kids! She loved it! I see this happening a lot more often in our future!! Oh and the best part was it was only $3.oo to have hers done!!

Happy Wedding Day!!!

I LOVE my little flower girl!!! I am sorry, but she is the cutest thing I have ever seen! Avery looked like a little princess and she knew it!! =) She loved being a flower girl! She loved her dress and her shoes, she had the best time and was so excited for the wedding! She kept telling us "I am getting married today to Junebug (Justin)!!" So funny...and now she tells us "I got married!" Poor girl is a little confused! Justin and Brandi had a beautiful wedding and a great reception! Brandi looked amazing...she was such a beautiful bride and Justin looked pretty cute himself! It really was a perfect wedding for a perfect couple! It was outside overlooking lake Travis and it really was beautiful!! Congrats you guys and thanks for including our crazy girl in your day!

I have hardly any pictures from this day! I wanted a picture of the view from our hotel it overlooked the water and was amazing! It didn't look like a lake, more like a beach! It was sooo pretty! I had envisioned getting all these pictures of Avery and I and Avery and her daddy, but got none! I am soooo sad!!! But, I spent 95% of the time running in heels after a crazy two year old...no joke! She was on fire!!! So, even though I don't have all of the pictures I wanted at least I got some....

Avery and Junebug! She loves him! All day she was talking about seeing Junebug and getting married to him! When Avery was born Justin started telling her to call him Junebug, I think it was a joke at first, but you can't tell Avery that and then take it back...she took him seriously and his name is forever Junebug now!!

At the reception this girl never stopped! Once the music started playing her feet hit the dance floor and didn't come off until 3 hours later when the music stopped! She LOVED dancing, she danced with all the little boys out there and Rachel too! She had a blast and seriously only stopped one time to eat cake and get some water! But other than that she was dancing!!

I tried to get her to calm down at the end of the night and take a picture of Nana and Poppa...out of about 5 pictures this is the best we got!! She loves her Nana and Poppa and loved being with them this weekend!

We had a great time at the wedding and with our family this weekend! By the time we got home Sunday and after listening to Avery cry her self to sleep for about and hour and a half on the way home we were whooped!! It was the longest weekend ever but totally worth it! Congrats Justin and Brandi!!!!
