Beach...Day Two!!

So, I am the worst mother EVER!!! Who takes their baby to the beach for the first time and forgets to bring their camera??? OH, yeah, that would be me! Luckily, Mimi had her camera and got some great pictures! I am going to have to get the pictures from her. I am just so sad that I didn't have my camera! =(

But, Avery LOVED the beach! She LOVED the sand and the ocean! We spent all morning at the beach! The first thing she asked that morning when opening her eyes was "When are we going to the beach??" So, we got there and set up a little spot and hung out at the beach all morning! We built sand castles, collected a lot of sea shells, went for walks up and down the shore, rode on a boogie board with daddy, splashed in the waves and had such a GREAT time! I am so glad Avery got to experience the beach!! She was so excited and loved every single part about it! At first she wasn't so sure of the waves getting her or walking around all the stuff, but she finally got over that and had sooo much fun!!

This is the only picture I took that day! Avery loved eating french fries in bed too!! As soon as I get the pictures from the beach I will add them....Ugh, still mad at myself about that one! After a long morning at the beach we came back to the room and had lunch in bed then took a long nap! We woke up and drove around the city for a little bit then went out for another awesome dinner!! After that we went back to the hotel for a little more swimming in the awesome pool and sliding then Avery spent the night with Mimi and Paga...again!! She slept with them every night!! There was no way she was going to stay with use when she knew they were right next door!

BEACH...Day One!!

Avery had been talking non stop about going to the beach and wanting to go to the beach! We decided that we really needed to take her to the beach to see the ocean and the sand! Last week we finally made it to the beach! We had an awesome family vacation with our little family and with Ryan's mom and dad...Mimi and Paga!! Thank you guys sooooooo much for everything, we had the BEST time and we are soooo thankful that we all got to go on a family vacation together!! Thank you sooo much!!!

The first day we got there we went straight to the pool! The place we stayed was amazing! It was an awesome resort! It had a great pool with a fun water slide that Avery and Ryan couldn't get enough of! It had a swim up bar, a hot tub with a waterfall and a great area to relax and lay out! It was sooo pretty and such a great place to stay! Avery and Ryan at the top of the big water slide...they must have done that at least 50 times. Every time they came down Avery was screaming and laughing and had the biggest smile on her face and was saying "Again Daddy!!"

Avery and Paga going in to eat dinner! We went out to a great dinner every night....thank you guys we were very spoiled on this trip!! =)

Happy Father's Day Daddy!!!

Avery wants to wish her daddy a Happy Father's Day! She loooooooves her daddy so much and has really turned into a daddy's girl! She has been so sweet to him today and has told him at least 20 times..."Happy Father's day Daddy!!" It is just so sweet to hear her say that! Ryan says that he doesn't need or want a single thing because just having Avery is the best Father's day gift ever...of course we got him presents though! Ryan is such an amazing daddy, Avery is VERY blessed to have him! He loves his little girl more than anything and I love watching them together....I love getting to watch Ryan be a daddy! I pray they will always have a special relationship and will always be very close! I hope she always thinks her daddy is her hero and better than ANY man she will ever have in her life!! We love you Ryan...Happy Father's Day! Thank you for being the best daddy ever to our little girl! We are both beyond blessed because of YOU!!!!

Bye-Bye Crib!!

Avery said Bye-Bye to her crib and Hello to her big girl bed! We decided we should move her into her new bed so she could get use to it before the baby came! She had noooo problem at all! We talked about her big girl bed and big girl room for so long she was so ready to get into it! We took the crib down and put her new bed up and she was soooo happy! Her bed is extra extra special because it is the same head board that Mimi had when she was a little girl. So we cleaned it up and repainted it and it looks awesome! I am so glad Chris saved so many things that are now special to Avery! She was so good at saving Ryan's toys and things and now Avery gets to play with the same things her daddy played with! And, now she gets to sleep in the same "bed" that her Mimi slept in! So awesome!! I will post more pictures when we get the room all done! We have a lot to do because Avery is getting a whole new room and we have to work on the baby's room also!

HeLp!!!!!

Okay, we are having a HARD time naming our son!! We need all the help we can get! When we had Avery it was soooo easy to name her. I loved the name Avery and that was it Avery was her name and it is the most perfect name in the world!! But, this time not so easy! So, I am asking for your help! Tonight Ryan and I sat down after about a month of trying to pick a name! I made a list in alphabetical order of all of the names that I liked it had 38 names on it. I have searched baby name websites, blogs, baby books, the social security website, magazines, newspapers, face book, listening to people in the store any way possible I have searched for boy names and I compiled a list of 38 boy names!!! That is a lot of names! Well tonight we sat down and narrowed this list down!

Fun with the fire truck!!

Saturday night we went to a fish fry at Larry's house! Well, little miss had a BLAST!!! First of all she LOVES Larry and is always asking me to go to his house!! So, she was sooo excited she was getting to go with us!! Martha had a little piano that was just Avery's size and she did not want to leave that! She loved the piano and could have played it all night long! I am going to have to find one for her!! We were able to lure her away from the piano long enough to come check out Mr. Steve's fire truck!! Avery was in love not only with the fire truck but also with Mr. Steve!! She was hugging him and laying her head down on his shoulder! Thanks Mr. Steve for letting us play in your truck! Avery even turned on the lights and sirens and talked on his radio!! You made her day Steve...thanks!! =)

BIG Sister!!

I just wanted to remember some of the cute things Avery says! She is sooo funny and has me laughing all day long! She is very excited about being the big sister and we talk about it all the time!!! I just had to write down the cute things she is saying so that I can look back and remember!!

She is very sweet and talks all the time about all the things she is going to do with her little brother! "I am going to hold him, and rock him, and sing to him, and give him a bath, and feed him his bottle, and give him his paci!" She is very prepared to help with him! I can not wait to see her with him and how sweet she is going to be with him! She tells me " I am going to share all my toys with him and my blankies and my pacis!" She tells me all the time how she is going to share with him, I really hope she does!! She has a little pink teddy bear that has started bringing to bed with her, it is real little and she tells me that she is saving it for the baby! To bad her little brother probably won't be getting a pink teddy bear, but she sure has been holding on to that just for the baby b/c it is little like the baby!! =) LOVE HER!!!!

Any time we see a baby any where...the store, the t.v., our friends babies she tells me "That is what we are going to have mommy!!"

She kisses and talks to my belly! She tells her brother to grow big and strong so he can come out and play with her!!

The last time I went to the Dr. I told Avery that I was going to the Dr. so he could check on the baby and she said "Tell the Dr. to take the baby out now!!"

She says I am the big sister and the baby is little!!

Avery's gymnastic coach Coach Jack asked her what she wanted to name her baby brother and she said Sister!!

When we see babies she always says "Awe, they are soooo cute!!!"

I was telling Avery that we were going to have to clean all of her toys out of her play room so that we could move all of the baby's stuff in there and she did not like that! She said "NO that is my play room and the baby can live at Mimi's house!!" Hmmmm.....

I was showing Avery a piece of the fabric we are using for his room and telling her that it was going to be for her brothers room and she did not like that either! She said "NO, that is for my room not my brother's and he will have to share with me!!!" It's already starting and he is not even here yet!!

Avery says to me..."Mommy, why is your belly sooo big, because there is a baby in there?" And, "Mommy, you have a big belly like Paga!!" Sorry, Paga!! =)

Just the way she says broder melts my heart!!

I know Avery is going to be absolutely in love with this new baby! She really is such a great listener and always tries to please us and do what we ask of her! I know she is going to be such a great helper and will take a lot of pride in being his big sister! I can not wait to see the two of them together! I pray they have a close bond and a close relationship with each other! I pray they have a best friend in each other for life!! =) I can not wait to see their relationship grow!! I am so proud of my little girl and really can't believe she is going to be a big sister in 4 months!!
