September 22

I went to the Dr. on Tuesday and the plan is to meet our son on September 22nd! I can't believe that in two weeks...or less (Please be less) we will get to meet our little boy! We will have a son and a daughter...wow!!! My Dr. decided that I could be induced on the 22nd unless he decides to come sooner, which I am really really hoping for! It is only 4 days early, but I will take what I can get! I am also dilated to a one, which never happened with Avery until I got to the hospital and was induced, so maybe that is a good sign! But, my dr. did remind me that I could be like that for weeks and nothing happen! So, we are just hoping that he decides to make his appearance on his own time....but if not we will get to meet him in 14 days!!

Ryan's "aunt" Kim is amazing! She is the sweetest and BEST aunt ever!! Avery loves her sooo much and so do we! She is so thoughtful and just GREAT!!! She threw me a shower at her house and it was absolutely perfect in every way! Anything she does or touches turns out beyond perfect! She's just like that!! It was so sweet of her to do that for us and we are soooo thankful! Thank you Aunt Kim and also to all of our friends and family that came out to celebrate our little boy with us! Thank you for the kind and thoughtful gifts....we are sooooo blessed!!!! Our son is going to be very well dressed and taken care of thanks to you guys!! Also a special shout out to my friend Amy for passing down ALL of her boy stuff! Amy has given us sooooo much for our boy that was Maddox's and we all know what an awesome dresser little Mad Man is...so thank you soooo much, I don't think we will need any more clothes...ever!! =)

Okay, any one that really knows me, knows that I do not like myself pregnant! I mean why would I...I am way over weight and just yuck! But, I know it is worth it! I also hate having my picture taken while pregnant...but of course I had to at the shower! I know these are the worst pictures ever, trust me I am not in denial here! But, they are Oh so cute of little Avery! So for the sake of Avery and all of her cuteness I decided to post them anyway! I love the way she is kissing this little bear! Poor girl thought that this was all for her. She knew it was for her little brother and was soooo into helping me open all the gifts and ooohhed and awwwed over them and really knew they weren't for her. But, there were a few things that she just really thought had to be for her. She loved this little bear and still carries it around at home. She knows it is his but tells me that her brother has to share. So, share he does!!! =)

Avery had soooooo much fun with my friends little cuties! She hardly ever sees them. Just usually Savannah at Halloween! She had a lot of fun playing with them. Avery looked as if she was just giving sweet little Parker an innocent hug....until he started choking! Apparently she was choking him just a little bit!!

Mommy and her baby! I love this little angel soooo much! We keep reminding Avery every day that the first born is the best born, Ryan and I know this to be true of course because we are both the first born! Hahaha!!! We just love her so much she will always be our best and most favorite little girl!!! So, glad we are having a boy so she can always be our favorite girl!!

And, of course some more out of order pictures! Avery was such a helper and helped me unwrap all of the cards and presents! She had a lot of fun looking at all the cute baby stuff!

Balloon Festival

Saturday we took Avery to the Highland Village hot air balloon festival! It was sooooo HOT!!! But, Avery had a good time! She was pretty unimpressed with the hot air balloons. She thought they were okay, but was much more impressed with the little carnival rides, which I have no pictures of! She rode the merry go round and loved it, she thought that was so much fun. She also rode the choo choo train. She keeps telling me she wants the choo choo train to come to her birthday party! We might have to arrange that for this year! And, she also picked out a little duck with a number on it and won a prize! Avery was sooooo excited and picked out a Dora doll! She was sooo happy to win the Dora doll and seriously loves it. Her and Dora even take their bath together now! It was something fun and Avery had fun, so it was worth the $20.00 plastic Dora!! =)

107 degrees....

Yes, it really was 107 degrees on Monday, the hottest day of this horribly hot and nasty summer!! Can not wait until it cools off! But, this is what Avery had to wear on this record breaking hottest day of the year!! She found this while we were cleaning out her closet, it is pretty tight and small, but she got it on and would not take it off! I was sweating just looking at her! And, she did not understand why I wouldn't let her go outside and wait for daddy to get home!! Funny funny girl!!
