I can not believe my baby is 19 months old today! Where has all of this time gone? I want it back! I wish we could just start all over and relive the 19 months over again and again and again...they have been the best months ever!! I just love her sooo much!
She is seriously so smart, I know I may be biased but I really think she is. She just really watches and pays attention to what you are doing 24/7 and figures stuff out by watching and listening to everything you tell her! We have to be really careful! =) She is a sponge and soaks up everything! Avery loves to do things by herself and when I try to help her she will tell me "Stop or No, mommy!" She feeds herself everything, even yogurt and other very messy things with of course no help from me. Sometimes she even ditches the spoon or fork and goes for it with her fingers. She is like her mama, if there is food around she will figure out a way to eat it!!
Just thought I would list some things about Avery as she turns 19 months today, so that one day when I look back I can relive the memories!!
- She weighs around 27 or 28 pounds
- She is very tall, 95th percentile
- She wears a size 6 shoe and can put them on herself even on the right foot most of the time and of course has no problem taking them off.
- She wears a size 5 diaper, and has really started telling us after she has gone potty! Such a big girl.
- She wears size 24 months or 2T in clothes and those fit perfectly, she may have to move up a size soon!
- She loves the pool and says pooooo, it has a really country sound to it.
- She loves to play outside...she does not care if it is 120 degrees out, she would stay out there all day long if you let her. I tell her it is too hot. So, she will say "Outside, hooot, yucky!!" But, still wants to be out there in it!
- She LOVES her brother, Bruiser. She will follow him around and boss him around non stop. She tells him when to eat, drink, sit, go outside, go to sleep, poor Bruiser does not run our house anymore! But, I think they are really buddies now. He follows her around too and kisses her all day long! She also gives him hugs and kisses and tries to pick him up. We are really working on being gentle to Bruiser, no hitting or kicking.
- She loves playing with her babies. She will wrap them up in blankets and put them to bed and tell us "SHHHH!!!" She feeds them and gives them drinks and pacis! I catch her kissing them and hugging them and it is the sweetest thing ever!! She is the best little mommy!!
- She loves to wave at everyone! At the store, the cars driving by the neighborhood any where there is someone around she will wave! She is very friendly and never meets a stranger!
- She loves gymnastics!! She gets so excited when we drive up! She thinks every thing is her own personal trampoline...the couch, our bed, her bed! I hear her in the mornings jumping on her bed saying "Trampoline!!" She also does that on the couch often, I have to remind her daily that it is not a trampoline!! =) She does so great at gymnastics. She can hold onto the bars herself and swing her self! So proud of our little gymnast!!
- She talks non stop and can say anything! She repeats anything you say to her.
- She is really good at communicating with us and using words to tell us what she wants.
- She is a great sleeper. She goes to sleep every night around 8 and sleeps until 8 or later the next morning. She also takes about a 2 hour nap every day!
- When she goes down to sleep, I always hold her like a baby a try to rock her to sleep, but she always says "No, bed" Poor baby just wants to get straight into her bed. She listens to her cd every night and falls right to sleep on her own....with 4 paci's' in her bed! =)
- She is such a sweet heart and so full of joy! She laughs all the time and is always smiling! She is just so happy and so sweet! She loves to give hugs and kisses and nosey kisses! I love the joy she has and pray she always stays that way!
- She loves her family! She talks about her mommy, daddy, boo boo, Nana, Papa, Mimi and Grandpa all day everyday! She also talks about D, Clay, Hollla, Nanny and My dad, although she can't quite say Grandaddy for some reason and she just started really talking about Niki alot! She also talks about her friend Haylee alot! She loves her family and friends!!
- She knows every single body part and will show you each one....every single part!! =)
- She loves pizza, strawberries, mac and cheese, ice cream, chocolate milk, and juice! But, she is a great eater and will try anything!
Honestly I can not think of much that Avery does not like.......
- The garbage man freaks her out for some reason.
- Long car rides
- Not being able to walk on her own at the store
- ............
Basically, we are extremely blessed with the perfect child!! =) Honestly, she is perfect in my eyes! It is so amazing to experience the love you have for your child. Sometimes I just think Wow, I could not love her any more, I am sooo in love with her, there is nothing that she could do that would ever take away the love I have for this child and it occurs to me that is exactly how God loves us! He loves us so unconditionally, even when we mess up and sin and do things that are not pleasing to Him, He still loves us! Isn't that amazing. I just always think of that when I think of how much I love Avery! I think God gives us children to show us the way He loves us!! We are beyond blessed and beyond thankful for this Perfect and Amazing child of His!!!!! Still can't believe she is 19 months, but I am preparing myself because I know TWO is right around the corner!!!!!
