FIVE months!!!

Brody Bear you are FIVE months old!

How can it be??

My sweet boy is five months! This time has gone by so fast! I can not believe it has been five months since you were born!

What have you been up to??

* You are the HAPPIEST baby ever! You are ALWAYS smiling and laughing!!

* You are always very laid back and still hardly ever cry. Only when you are hungry or tired.

* You have started to become a little afraid of big, noisy crowds and new people.

* You still love your swing and take your nap in there each afternoon! You also still love your jumparoo and play mat!

* You love to take a bath and splash so much, I usually have to put a towel on the kitchen floor because you make such a mess! You have started to want to sit up in the bath tub too and can grab a hold of the faucet and turn the water on!

* You sit in your bumbo chair and watch Avery take her bath at night, you just watch her...I am sure you are thinking "I can't wait till I can take a bath and splash in that big tub!"

* You "talk" to us all the time and you are pretty loud!

* You finally rolled over!!!! Yay!! From your back to your tummy. You still haven't rolled the other way yet. You like to be on your tummy now and play with your toys. You just roll and move and scoot yourself all around!

* You LOVE to stand up. If I am holding you, you do not want to sit...you always want to stand!!

* You play with your hair. You rub your head and put your hands in your hair a lot. It is so cute seeing your hands rubbing your hair. I love to play with and rub your head too! You especially do this if you are tired or while you are drinking your bottle.

* You always have something in your mouth especially your thumb and even your whole hand.

* You are in serious need of another hair cut...but, I kind of just want to let it keep growing and see what it looks like. You have a ton of hair in the front and the top of your head and not as much in the back!

* You weigh about 19 pounds. I held you on the scale this morning. You are growing sooo fast!

* You can wear some 6-9 month clothes, but the 6 month clothes fit good...not for long!

* You are wearing a size 3 diaper!

* You started your rice cereal this month and did not like it at all! You would scream and gag and turn your head when you saw the spoon! Just last week you finally started to actually eat the cereal and enjoy it!

* You still drink 5 ounces every three hours except during the night. You eat your last bottle around 10 and "sleep" until about 6-6:30. I say "sleep" because you usually wake up around 2 or so and I have to hold you or let you sleep in our bed until you eat again!

* You still have never slept in your own bed! =(

* You sleep so sweetly with your arms above your head!

* You are always trying to sit up and can sit up on your own for a little bit before tumbling over!

* You love your daddy! When he is in the room you can not take your eyes off of him. You just stare at him and smile so big! You also really love your sister and of course your momma too!

* Dare I say...you have gotten a lot better with spitting up! You still spit up and still have really bad days or weeks, but for the most part you are doing much better with that!! Thank Goodness!!

* Your cheeks get really red and chapped a lot. I think it is from all of the kisses from mommy, daddy, Mimi, Nana and everyone that sees you!!! Your cheeks are sooo kissable!!

You are just such a joy Brody! We are so blessed to have you in our lives! You are so sweet and cuddly! I wish I could just hold you in my arms all day long! If I could bottle you up and have you stay like this forever I would!! I know, before I know it you will be running around here and not wanting my hugs and kisses! I just love you more than you will ever know!! Happy Five months my sweet little boy!!
