Sixteen months!!

I haven't done a post on Brody in a while and I think I am long past due for one! My sweet boy is 16 months old! He has really changed a lot in the last few months. He is really starting to grow up and not seeming so babyish to me....although he is still a baby in my eyes and probably always will be!
* Brody you weigh about 25-26 pounds....you have really thinned out and are not my chunky monkey anymore....you have also grown taller. The dr. said you are in the 50th% for height and weight. They can predict how tall you will be when you are done growing and he is predicting anywhere from 5'10 -6'......we will see! Daddy is 6'0 so you could be tall like daddy! =)
* You have 6 teeth. 4 on the top and only 2 on the bottom, but that does not stop you from eating what ever you want!
* You are wearing size 12-18 months clothes and a 6-7 size shoe! Finally your feet thinned out and you can wear shoes!! =)
* You run everywhere....you walk some but usually you are running! You are always in a hurry! You walk on your tip toes alot!
* You are always falling down, bumping your head or busting your lip...you have had at least two bloody lips. I am afraid for you all the time, that you are going to get hurt.
* You really like to get into things that you are not suppose to. Your favorites are the dog food and water, the trash can, my drawer that has ribbon, wrapping paper and bags and anything in Avery's room. You are very destructive and love to destroy things....daddy calls you bam bam or a little wrecking ball! =)
* You are a horrible sleeper. I am sad to admit that you have still never slept in your crib because you absolutely will not. Oh did I forget to mention that you are VERY strong willed and stubborn. You will cry for hours upon hours in I leave you in your crib...we have tried. So, now you sleep in a pack n play in our bedroom. You still wake up in the middle of the night and the only option if anyone in the house wants sleep is to let you in bed with us. Seriously moms...don't ever say "I will NEVER" b/c I said that and I meant that! ugh.... You are a horrible napper too. Some days you will take two naps easily and some days we are lucky to get you to take one nap. Sometimes your nap consists of me or mimi or daddy holding you in our arms while you sleep! You go to "bed" around 730-8 some nights and some nights you stay awake until 11. It is all up to you! It is not a good thing and I am not happy about it, but it is what it is! =) I am totally open for suggestions!! ;)
* You are so sweet and cuddly still. You melt my heart daily. I love when you lay your head on my shoulder or give me a big kiss with your mouth wide open or a huge hug when you squeeze tight and say ahhhh!!!! =) Your mommy loves you so much! You love to give kisses and hugs. Sometimes though you like to play a game with me and say "NO" and shake your head when I ask for a hug or kiss!
* You have a temper! Let me tell you, you are a temper tantrum throwing little boy for sure! You have several fits a day. You throw your self down on the ground and scream and cry. You are doing a new thing that I actually find pretty cute. When you throw a fit you will cover your eyes with your hands do dramatically...it is soooo funny! You are stubborn, strong willed, relentless, opinionated and I love it!!! And, honestly you come by it naturally!
* You scream like a girl....all the time!
* You hold your own with your sister. She bosses and pushes you around all the time, but you stand up for your self!
* You LOVE bananas......if you see a banana in the house you will throw a fit until we give you the "nana"....and forget about trying to buy banana's in the store with you....you want it right then and there.
* Your favorites are: banana's, cheese, pizza, ravioli, chicken nuggets, strawberries, bread, mashed potatoes and milk. You do not like any vegtables but you will eat most fruits!
* You are really trying to talk a lot more now. You will repeat almost anything we ask you to say, if you want to.
* You say: Dada, Mama, Nana, (Mema) Mimi, Gaga (Paga), Aeeey (Avery), Brui ( Bruiser), baby, No, Hi, bite bite, bye bye, (those words both sound the same), eyes, gone gone...all gone (sounds like ah ga), drink (di), thank you and please, although it does not sound like that, you say ohhhh baby and it is my favorite, well besides mama! you really are trying to talk and will repeat anything we say. It might not sound the same but you will give it your best shot! =) This just happened the last few weeks!
* You can point out your eyes, nose, teeth, hair and ears.
* If you see a dog you start barking and crawling around acting like a dog!
* You love Bruiser and you love to feed Bruiser your food.
* You love taking a bath. You get really angry when it is time to get out.
* You lean over for a kiss randomly and say...mmmmmm...I LOVE it!!

You are just growing and changing so much! You are really talking and trying to communicate with us. You can follow our directions very well. You know exactly what we are saying to you. You are just turning into such a big boy! I love watching you grown and learn. You are such a blessing in our lives and we all love you so much sweet Brody bear!!!!
