ELEVEN Months....

Brody Bear you are 11 months old today!!!

How can it be true??? Are you really going to be ONE next month? I can not believe 11 months have gone by sooo fast!! WOW!!

You are sooo sooo loved little Brody! You are so sweet and special, we love you more than you could ever imagine! Thank you for being the sweetest little mommy's boy!!!! I mean that in a good way, like you love your momma so much!!! =)

What have you been up to this month?

* You started WALKING!!!! You have been taking a few steps here and there, but you are now an official walker...August 13th you just started walking and have not looked back! You walksooo funny! You move very cautiously with your arms out in front of you. You look kind of like a zombie or Frankenstein that has had a little to much to drink! It is the cutest thing ever! You are sooo proud of your self. You just smile the whole time, like look what I'm doing...and clap for your self! Can not believe you are already walking! Avery is so proud of you too, she will say "Look mommy, he is walking!!" She gets sooo excited!!! =)

* You started CLIMBING....on everything! The fireplace, chairs, couch, table! What ever you can climb on you will! And, then you stand up on it!!! We are in trouble!

* You are into EVERYTHING! Seriously I can not take my eyes off of you for one second! Your favorites are: the trash, the toilet, my closet, Avery's room, Bruiser's food and water...whatever you are not suppose to get into you go for!! =)

* You fell off of our bed! Poor baby woke up while sleeping with daddy and somehow fell off of the bed. I'm not exactly sure what or how it happened b/c I wasn't there but you did it! It was bound to happen and our bed is very tall! Poor thing, you were so upset, but I think more scared than hurt!

* You slept through the night for the very first time...only for one night, but it was great!!

* You still go to sleep around 7:30-8pm...you sleep in your own bed for a few hours until around 2-4 and then wake up screaming to get in bed with us! I'm not sure if you are ever going to sleep in your own bed all night long! We aren't really sure how to break you of this habit. And, I really like cuddling with you!! =)

* You still wear a size 4 diaper and 12 months clothes!

* You still can not wear shoes b/c they will not go over your chubby feet! I am not sure how this is going to work since you are now walking?!!

* You eat yogurt or baby food fruit for breakfast, a veggie for lunch and some type of dinner for dinner. You would much rather have what we are eating than baby food! You still drink 4, 6 oz. bottles a day.

*You had pizza and LOVED it!!!

* You still take a morning and afternoon nap. They can range anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half. You sleep great for everyone else except your mommy. When I get you to sleep and lay you down you instantly wake up and want me to pick you back up. You do not do this for anyone else??

* You say: mama, dada, thank you, bye bye, boo, hi, no-no. You don't always say them clearly, but we know what you are saying! You love to put the phone to your ear and say "hi!"

* You love to play with the home phone and the iphone! You even have a favorite ap that makes a tooting sound...such a boy!!! =)

* You love your sister!!!

* You are obsessed with my hair! Anytime I am holding you, you have your hand in my hair. You make it a tangled knotted mess. If I take your hand out you scream until you find your way back into my hair! Especially when you are trying to go to sleep!

* You have learned to scream to get what you want! If you want more food: scream, if you want me to pick you up: scream, if you want to get down: scream, if you want a toy back that your sister stole from you: scream!

* You have also learned to hold your own and stand up to Avery when she takes something away you will actually scream and try to take it back! I know this is just the beginning of the "fights" yall will have!

* You are so sweet! I love when you lay your little head on my shoulder and pat my back! =)

* You like to fake cough until we say "oh, are you okay?" You will do it over and over!!

* You still only have 2 teeth.

* You give high 5!

* You have learned that you can stick your finger in your nose...you do this all the time...sit around with your finger up your nose. And, you have discovered that you are a boy!

I can not believe next month you will be one! We are planning your birthday party, it is going to be so much fun!! And, although you have had a lot of different foods, I haven't let you taste cake yet, we are saving that for your special day! We love you more than anything Brody...you are the best thing ever!!! Happy 11 months!!!
